React JS, introduced by Facebook, is probably the most widely-used front-end Javascript framework at the moment. It allows a UI to be built up in a declarative fashion from reusable "components", which each keep track of their own state. Unlike other popular frontend frameworks like Angular and Vue, data flows in only one direction, "top-down", which helps to make code more explicit and minimise bugs.
